Stars Drop Final Game of Road Trip To Lookouts
(From release) Andrew Lambo crunched a walk-off home run to lead off the tenth inning to lift the Lookouts to a dramatic 7-6 come from behind win over the Stars Wednesday afternoon in the last of a five-game set at AT&T Field. Chattanooga ended the series by winning the last three games to improve to 6-14, while Huntsville dipped to 10-10 and to a half game behind Tennessee in the North Division. The Stars finished their first road trip of the year splitting 10 games.
Stars Fall To Lookouts, 7-2

The Lookouts improved to 5-14 with wins in back-to-back games for the first time this season, while the Stars slipped to 10-9 but remain in first place in the North Division, a half game ahead of the Tennessee Smokies, who fell at home to the Carolina Mudcats for a second straight day.
Stars Fall To Lookouts, Win Streak Stops At Four
(From release) Josh Lindblom worked five impressive innings and benefited from a six-run explosion in the second inning that carried Chattanooga to a 6-3 win Monday night in the middle of a five-game set at AT&T Field. The Lookouts snapped an eight-game losing streak and lifted their record to 4-14, while the Stars had a four-game win streak snapped and fell to 10-8. The Stars remained in first place in the North Division, a half game ahead of the Tennessee Smokies, who fell at home to the Carolina Mudcats.
Alabama-Huntsville Baseball Secures GSC No. 2 Seed With Win
(From release) With the No. 2 seed on the line in next weekend’s Gulf South Conference tournament in Millington, Tenn., the Alabama-Huntsville (29-11, 11-6 GSC) baseball team outslugged North Alabama (32-20, 6-8 GSC) 19-17 on “senior day” at Huntsville’s Joe Davis Stadium.
With the win, the Chargers clinched second place in the GSC East division behind West Alabama and take on Harding in the opening round of the GSC Tournament.

(From release) Chris Cody spun six solid innings and Derrick Ellison worked three shutout innings in relief to close out Huntsville’s 3-1 win over Chattanooga Sunday afternoon in the second of a five-game set at AT&T Field. The Stars won their fourth in a row to improve to 10-7 and remain in first place in the North Division, while the Lookouts lost an eighth straight to fall to 3-14 and seven games behind. The Stars have won nine times by either a run or two and 15 of their 17 games have been decided by three runs or less.
Stars Defeat Lookouts To Take Third Straight Win
(From release) Jeremy Jeffress worked five strong innings and the bullpen survived a shaky ninth inning to preserve Huntsville’s 5-4 victory in the opener of a five-game set Saturday night at AT&T Field. The Stars won their third straight to improve to 9-7 and remain in first place in the North, while the Lookouts lost a seventh straight to fall to 3-13 and six games behind in the division. Eight of the Stars’ nine wins have come by one run and 14 of their 16 games have been decided by three runs or less.

(From release) Adam Stern delivered a two-run single to snap a tie in the ninth and propel Huntsville to a wild 12-9 win over Carolina Friday in the last of a five-game set at Five County Stadium. The Stars grabbed the last two games and three out of five to improve to 8-7 and move into first place, while the Mudcats dipped to 6-9.

(From release) Derrick Ellison spun 2 1/3 innings of shutout relief, as three relievers combined to shut out Carolina to preserve Huntsville’s 2-1 victory Thursday night in the fourth of a five-game set at Five County Stadium in Zebulon, NC. The Stars evened their record at 7-7 but remain a half game behind Tennessee in the North Division, while the Mudcats dipped to 6-8. All seven of the Stars’ wins have been decided by one run, as they have played in nine one-run games and 12 games decided by three runs or fewer.
