A man was injured when his wife cut him with a steak knife late Wednesday.
Police said in a statement the incident happened at 2403 #4 Mastin Lake Road just before midnight.
Walter Hicks said he and his wife Linda had been involved in an argument before she cut him on the head.

Following questions about how fees for passport applications accepted by the Madison Circuit Court Clerk’s office are handled, Clerk Jane Smith announced Thursday she would stop taking them effective May 1.

AAMU President: School not sponsoring Farrakhan visit
Minister Louis Farrakhan is scheduled to speak on the campus of Alabama A&M University on April 10.

Two men rob hotel
Two men robbed a west Huntsville hotel early Thursday.
Police said two men entered the LaQuinta Inn at 4890 University Drive at 1 a.m.
The pair were armed with handguns and took the hotel’s cash drawer before fleeing the area.
No injuries or arrests were reported.

A woman was attacked by one of two men she was taking to buy drugs early Wednesday.
Chelsea Szymczak said she was taking two men to buy drugs around 3:30 a.m.
