According to Sgt. Michael Salomonsky of the Madison County Sheriff’s Department drug squad, Julian Davalos, 48, was arrested Wednesday.
Drug agents from the Madison County sheriff’s office and Madison police were assisted by SWAT teams from those agencies in a raid on Davalos’ residence at 329 Coggins Road in the Ardmore area.
Salomonsky said search warrants were obtained as a result of information developed during an ongoing drug investigation.

A crowd estimated at around 2,000 gathered in downtown Huntsville Wednesday afternoon for a tea party.
But instead of a genteel group of Southern ladies, this group gathered to loudly and peacefully protest current government economic policy.
The crowd began to gather almost an hour before the event, which ran from noon until 1 p.m.
Huntsville police were on hand but their services were limited to traffic control as the crowd frequently spilled from the protest site along Clinton Avenue into the street itself.
The crowd applauded and roared its approval as several speakers, including senate candidates Sam Givhan and Paul Sanford and county commissioner Mo Brooks, railed against out-of-control government spending and policies which are seen by some as socialist and against the spirit of the Constitution.
After about an hour the TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Party was over and the group, which consisted of all ages, races, and genders, broke up and left the downtown area.
Wednesday’s event was held in conjunction with hundreds of others across the country. The date was chosen to coincide with the date when state and federal income taxes are due.
