Huntsville teen jailed in apparent revenge shooting

By Print Preview

(From release) A Huntsville man is in custody in connection with a shooting Sunday night that left a teen in serious condition.

The incident happened inside the Taco Bell, 2885 N. Memorial Pkwy., at about 8:45 p.m. and Donovan Keith Little, 19, has been charged with attempted murder.

Officers responded to a shooting call at the restaurant and found the 15 year-old victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim was inside the store waiting in line when Little walked in, pulled a gun and shot the victim before leaving the store.  Shortly after 9:00 p.m., Little turned himself in at HPD headquarters.

Police said last night’s shooting possibly stemmed from an August 2015 shooting inside a home in the 2500 block of Holmes Avenue.  Little was the victim, and the teen he shot was facing assault charges for that shooting.

Little is currently being held in the Madison County Jail.
