Drug agents charge three after raids; wait week to announce arrests

(From release) Agents with the Madison-Morgan County HIDTA Drug Task Force (STAC) and ALEA have charged three men in relation to a lengthy cocaine trafficking investigation.

The arrests were the result of two search warrants served on October 25 in the 100 block of Stetson Drive in Huntsville and the 2900 block of Pasture View Lane in Owens Cross Roads.

The warrants resulted in the seizure of almost 2 lbs. of cocaine, over $22,000 cash, prescription drugs and a handgun.  The drugs have an estimated street value of over $150,000

Agents charged Jamil Pride, 40, of Nashville and Chester Rogers, 46, of Huntsville with trafficking in cocaine.  Agents also charged Gamal Pride, 39, of Huntsville with two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

The case is still under investigation and additional arrests and federal charges could follow.
