A man escaped injury when someone opened fire on his home early Monday, police said.
Floyd Turner said he awoke around 4:30 a.m. to the sound of gunfire outside his home at 2479 Mount Vernon Road.
He looked outside but saw nothing suspicious. He did locate find where several bullets had impacted the walls and a TV set.
No arrests were made.
