Madison County drug agents have arrested two men and are seeking a third in connection with the seizure of a large amount of the recently banned drug known as spice.

Saeed Zamini, 29, and Christopher Moon, 28, were arrested late last week and are charge with trafficking in the drug, according to MCSO Sgt. Brian Chaffin.

Chaffin detailed the events that led to the seizure and arrests during a press conference Monday morning.

On June 24, two teenagers apparently overdosed on spice during a party at an undisclosed location.

Investigators learned the teens had obtained the spice from the Hazel Green Tobacco Market on Highway 231 in northern Madison County.

Agents then used an informant to buy spice from the store.

After the buy agents seized spice from the store and obtained search warrants for two residences in the Ardmore area and two storage units.

The seizures netted a total of $45,000worth of spice.

Zamini was booked on a $100,000 bond while Moon was given a $25,000 bond.

Agents were still looking for the supplier of the spice and are requesting the public's help in finding him.

He was identified as Mark Clark, 33.

Warrants have been issued for Clark for drug trafficking.

Anyone knowing his whereabouts should call police.
