A woman was taken to Huntsville Hospital after her SUV flipped in south Huntsville Thursday afternoon.
The crash was reported on Garth Road just north of Drake Avenue east of Whitesburg.
Evidence at the scene indicated the vehicle was southbound when it left the road.
It crossed the center line, went through the northbound lane and then went into a ditch.
The vehicle then flipped several times and came to rest on its side.
No other vehicles were involved.
The driver's name was not released.
