A man was injured, possibly seriously, when his vehicle crashed in south Huntsville Thursday evening.
The crash happened shortly after 7 p.m. on South Memorial Parkway north of Green Cove Road.
According to information from the scene, a silver SUV was southbound when it went out of control and crossed the median, snapping off several trees.
It then went through the northbound lanes where it went airborne and snapped off a power pole, finally coming to rest upright.
The driver suffered head injuries and was taken to Huntsville Hospital.
His name and the cause of the crash were not immediately known.
