(From release) The Chamber of Commerce of Huntsville/Madison County will hold its annual Business Expo Tuesday, Nov. 1, from noon until 5 p.m. at the Von Braun Center South Hall. Last year, more than 2,500 people attended.
This free event is open to the public, presented by RJ Young, and will feature more than 200 area businesses, nonprofit organizations and restaurants. For the first time ever, vendors will be allowed to sell their products and services at the event.
Free business coaching sessions will be offered by the Women’s Business Center of North Alabama. Any small business owner is welcome to attend these sessions, which include:
• How to Start a Small Biz Step by Step, Salon A - 1 p.m.
• 5 Steps to a Simple Business Plan, Salon A - 2:15 p.m.
• LinkedIn, Salon A - 3:30 p.m.
• 12 Steps to Doing Business with the Government, Salon B – 1 p.m.
• Smart Phone Marketing, Salon B - 2:15 p.m.
• Marketing with your Website, Salon B - 3:30 p.m.
