Snow has began to fall in southern Huntsville. At about 7:15 p.m. snow was observed falling in the south Memorial Parkway-Green Cove Road area.
Officials say the snow will intensify throughout the overnight hours and might bring as much as 7" of powder in some areas.
Motorists are urged to stay off area roads as temps are below freezing and snow will begin to stick on bridges and overpasses first.
