Redstone officials joined local dignitaries in welcoming the Arsenal's new commanding general Wednesday morning. During ceremonies before a standing-room-only crowd at the Sparkman Center, Major General Jim Rogers received his command from General Ann Dunwoody, commander of Army Materiel Command. Rogers succeeds Maj. Gen. James Myles, who had commanded Redstone since 2007.
