Contractors are continuing the improvements to Bailey Cove Road as they remove old pavement and lay down new asphalt. The work is taking place between Green Cove Road north to Weatherly Road.
A temporary speed limit of 25mph is in place along the work zone and police are on hand to enforce it.
One lane already had a new coat of pavement by mid-day Monday and old pavement was being removed on others Monday afternoon.
Drivers are urged to use caution in the area.
